Employee Benefits Marketing Analyst - Portland, OR.

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for providing timely, accurate and professional marketing and proposal presentations for new business, prospective business and renewing business to support the k.p.d. sales team and clients in their employee benefits strategy and offerings.

Due to the diverse requirements of this position, critical and strategic thinking, a consistent high sense of urgency, multi-tasking, an ability to work effectively in a team setting, advanced technical and organizational skills are key prerequisites in fulfilling the position’s requirements.

Experience/ Skills:

2+ years of related industry experience and knowledge of group insurance business as it relates to underwriting requirements, market products and coverage
Ability to obtain current Oregon Health & Life Licenses
Thorough knowledge of Employee Benefits Insurance
Provide comprehensive support in the marketing of new, prospective and renewal business
Excellent ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts to required tasks
Strong written and verbal language skills
Proficient in Word & Excel
