We hold fiercely to our independence, form lasting relationships, and work together to create personalized solutions. Because all business is personal.

Vision

We work hard for our clients, helping them stay ahead of the curve as industries and demands change. We are planning for the future with intention, and we vow to hold onto the independent spirit and integrity that got us to where we are today. We want every business to know that when they ask k.p.d. for help, there’s only one response they will get in return: “Yes, we Kandu that!”

Values

Partnership - We view our clients as people, not transactions. We work together to create personalized solutions.
Independence - Since 1979, our continued independence has allowed us to focus on our clients, giving us the freedom to keep them in sync with insurance carriers and k.p.d. team members.
Experience - Each of our advisors focuses on one line of insurance so that clients are always working with highly experienced agents.
Dedication - We push up our sleeves to help you get the job done right because it’s the right thing to do.
Innovation - We’re focused on a better future, staying open-minded and nimble as industries and demands change.

The Elephant - Kandu

A hand-crafted brass elephant stands strong and proud in the lobby of our office in Springfield, OR. We call him Kandu, named for the can-do spirit that permeates our culture at k.p.d.

Visit one of our offices and you’ll see many employees proudly wearing a Kandu necklace or a gold elephant pin with a diamond on its trunk. It’s a symbol of loyalty and our way of saying thank you for ten years of dedication and stellar service. The characteristic intelligence, strength, pride and strong family bond of the elephant make it the perfect mascot for Team Kandu, a group dedicated to independence, hard work and solutions that help our clients succeed.
